A Limpopo Madala was allegedly kidnapped while queuing at an ATM, he was later found alive on top of a mountain near the former SAPS Training Institution in Groblersdal.
According to the police Frank Mositsa (61) from Vierfontein (vleisboom) Takataka outside Groblersdal the madala kidnapped by unknown suspects.
He was found alive, but he couldn’t talk, had no money and his car missing.
The madala was then immediately rushed to hospital for medical attention.
Police spokesperson Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said it is alleged that the victim left his home to Groblersdal town, together with his wife for shopping.
Ngoepe said on arrival, the wife went to another shop leaving him queuing inside the ABSA bank to get money.
She waited for the husband until she realised that he was not coming back and she decided to go outside to the parking lot to check him.
On arrival, she was surprised to find the car had moved from where it was parked and at a later stage, she saw it driving away very fast within the CBD.
Ngeope said, she tried to call the husband repeatedly until his cell phone was answered by an unknown man who later dropped that call, the Police were notified and a search operation ensued.
He was driving a white Isuzu double cab.
Ngoepe said the suspects involved in this matter are still unknown and there are no arrest made yet.
