“I was overcome by unknown powers that made me shake and cry.”
Mpho claimed the fake pastors made her take off her blouse and rubbed muthi on her stomach. They took her to an ATM at Protea Glen Mall and made her draw money.
“Without knowing what was happening I drew my daily limit of R3 000,” said Mpho.She said they then drove her home to get more money from her mum.
“I wasn’t aware what was happening until they dumped me at the mall and drove away fast. I am just happy they didn’t rape or kill me,” she said.
Mpho said the fong kong holy men had left her broke and untrusting.Mum Neria Malele (47) said she was shocked.
“She came running, crying and demanding money. I had no money in the house and had to take the stokvel money to give to her. I want the evil men to be arrested and pay for what they did to my daughter,” said Neria.
Constable Vincent Mashiteng of Protea Glen Police Station said cops were investigating a case of theft by false pretences and appealed to the public for help to catch the culprits.
