MAFOKO security guards allegedly shot their colleagues with rubber bullets in Ba-Phalaborwa.
It is alleged that the employees of Mafoko Security wanted answers regarding their pension fund deductions, which led to the dispute.
Tintswalo Mathebula told Daily Sun that fellow Security guards shot them with rubber bullets.
In the fall out, over 10 security guards and a bystander were seriously injured and taken to Maphuta Hospital.
A case of attempted Murder and assault were opened at the Ba-Phalaborwa cop shop.
Mathebula said the dispute began when they went to the municipality to complain about funds that were not reflecting at the Department of Labour.
She said as they approached the municipal offices entrance, they were shot at with rubber bullets, on instruction of their supervisor.
When Daily Sun approached Mafoko Security supervisor, Johana Seremula for comment, she declined to talk.
Municipality spokesman Jonas Mahesu confirmed the incident but said the matter is being between their service provider, Mafoko Security and their employees.
Police spokesman Moetshe Ngoepe said the investigation will determine what really transpired when investigations are concluded.
