South African President Jacob Zuma had a Telecon with USA’s new president Donald Trump on Monday afternoon.
The two presidents discussed the need to work together on a lot of issues and strengthen the relationship between the two country.
Trump however insisted that if South Africa wants to move forward, it should consider building a wall between itself and Zimbabwe to stop illegal immigrants from entering the country.
“I’m building a wall & Mexico will pay for it. Zuma, you built Nkandla and South Africans payed for it, I think if you can also consider building a wall between your country and Zimbabwe to keep illegal immigrants out of your country, your people and Mugabe will pay for it.” Trump said.
Zuma was very pleased with Trumps words and is planning to first discuss the matter with a few of his advisers who will in any case agree with him
